No matter the weather...

This is the face of a little girl whose confidence has grown tremendously over the last two years. Frequent visits to St. Kateri's outdoor learning space and plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration at school has led her to develop a greater interest, appreciation and respect for nature. She's now often so eager to play outside, go on 'adventures' and search for insects and other animals, no matter the weather. The interest she shows has even brought us closer in a new way. We're spending more time outdoors to support her interest, and end up chatting about our findings, researching and learning together as a family. We're so grateful that she has daily opportunities to spend time outside with her peers, and that her adult role models are so supportive of outdoor learning. I truly believe these experiences are creating many fond memories while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the world around her.
