The Chance to RUN FREE!

We are really happy to be one of the families that get to take part in the outdoor learning program. Lauren's focus seems to be more gross motor so far and so for her to have the opportunity to run, climb and be free is amazing. I also love the concept of 'risky play' where they get to jump in puddles, climb and jump and just truly discover and get comfortable in their own bodies. I have always been that type of parent and so it is great that our daughter ended up in a class that shares those values!!

Living in northern ontario we need to embrace the outdoors and all the learning that can take place by taking a hike - or watching the snow ... or collecting rocks - instead of inside watching TV or playing electronics.

I think it is amazing that Lauren gets so many opportunities to go on field trips to St Kateri!! It is something my older daughter has only got to do once!!!

Lauren is thriving in your natural classroom environment and I find she always does best having the chance to run and be free - an opportunity she seems to get more often being in your learning environment then she would in a more traditional classroom.
